In SEARCH of…

In 2020 I began writing a series of arrangements of Bach keyboard works for Woodwind Ensemble (12 players + Double Bass). I was thinking along the lines of Mozart’s Gran Partita, but substituted the French horns for a SATB Saxophone Quartet.

In some cases, these are extracts from works / movements and as such I wanted to give them titles that were separate to Bach’s catalogue. Each of the titles begins with '“In search of…” followed by another word - STILLNESS, TRANQUILITY, SOLITUDE, and others. I’ve started making them available through CANE RIVER MUSIC
